To comply with new regulatory requirements, payment gateways and processors must now use a payment token (replacing the PAN) together with the initial transaction ID for all subsequent operations. This requirement strengthens security, supports PCI DSS compliance, and ensures uninterrupted processing for card-on-file and subscription-based payments.
Several improvements have been made to the Tokenization iFrame form:
Expanded merchant-related attributes, including:
New billing address fields: Address Line, City, Country, State, Zip/Postal Code, Email, Phone Number
Enhanced merchant experience through dynamic configuration updates based on the values provided. In addition, fields can now be pre-populated with default values.
Support for initiating Verify transaction processing after the Tokenization iFrame form is submitted.
Updates to the Tokenization API and Tokenization iFrame APIs to include the new fields. For details, please refer to the Developer Portal.
