Sub-account Status Model Enhancement

For more flexibility new sub-account statuses “Suspended” and “Suspended (Funds Hold)” have been added. For “Suspended” accounts transactions are disabled, except for Refunds, Partial Refunds, Credits, Chargebacks and Payouts.

For “Suspended” accounts with 2-step Approval, the status will be “Suspended (Funds Hold)” similar to Active (Funds Hold). In both these statuses, Payouts are not processed automatically, however Pending payouts will still be created by the Scheduler.

The status ‘Pending’ has been removed and been replaced with Active (Funds Hold)

The option to Suspend a Sub-Account is only available for Sub-Accounts with Status as “Active”, “Active Funds Hold”  or “Disabled“.

For Suspended (Funds Hold) sub-accounts, the Release Funds action transitions the sub-account to Suspended status.

For Active (Funds Hold) sub-accounts, selecting Release Funds prompts a confirmation pop-up asking whether you also want to release funds and – if applicable – whether you want to use the  updated payout details.

For Suspended (Funds Hold) sub-accounts, the Enable action transitions the sub-account to Active (Funds Hold) status.

The Hold Funds action for a Suspended sub-account transitions the sub-account to Suspended (Funds Hold) status.
